STYLE NOTES - Assess and Dress

For some of us Summer is a daunting season. With rising temperatures comes the need for less clothing which means baring a little more skin that some of us are comfortable with.  If coping with the summer heat is enough to deal with, then noting these style tips might hopefully take the sting out of summer dressing.

How to wear it-
Just like any time in any season, it’s important to identify your assets. Think about the parts of your body you’re most comfortable with. Do you prefer to bare your arms than your legs? Or are your pins your best assets? When choosing clothing or an outfit to keep cool, keep these questions in mind and choose clothing that covers up the parts of your body you’re less comfortable with, but always ensure your best assets are on display.

What to wear-
Long, flowy maxi skirts made of lightweight fabrics are a great cover up and allow your legs to breathe on a hot day. As too are long sleeved kaftan style tops like this one below from Camilla, and a great cover up if your arms aren’t your best feature.

Of course if your legs or arms warrant all the attention then a mini skirt or sleeveless top are perfect options. Just don’t forget your sunscreen.
